I am not sure of the year for the CDI "A" box but I believe it is the 73 to 75 unit. The 76 KH500 has a different part number. Again the only | differences were the location of the brown wire and the value of the cap. If my local electronic store has the parts in stock I will be building the unit this weekend and will let you know if it works. The bike I am building is a 500 motor in a 86 Ninja chassis. It's practically a bolt in. Just have to weld n some tabs for the motor mounts and get a 3/4" offset sprocket and its in. The conversion is a lot easier than I expected. I thought of this back in '85 when the 600R first came out but hey were not cheap enough til now to experiment with. I bought 3 600's for about $500 and when done I'll have the parts to assemble a completely stock Ninja to sell to pay for the whole project. I'm taking pics of the buildup to document it so anyone else can do it. Here are a few so you get the idea.
