Hey Tom,
Mid-Ohio was way better than I anticipated. I was there only 1 day and I couldn't
get away from the NAKTC coral due to many visitors dropping by and chatted all
day long. I didn't even have time to go to the swap meet and other event. I
did manage to get on the race track and took a couple of laps along with hundreds
of other vintage bikes. 2 of the NAKTC members paid no respect to the
rule and pulled some wheelies and almost got kicked out. I really need to be
there at least 2 full days.
We fired up 2 drag bikes every couple of hours to mark our territory....ear deafening experience.
The blue dragster is mine and the white one belongs to a member.
Features on my Blue H2 Drag bike:
Motor is completely fresh.
Mike Bianco porting work -- very very radical.
40mm FBG Lectrons
8.5-inch slick
Fast by Gast chassis....very very light.
All fiberglas bodywork with custom '72 graphics.
Slider clutch
Air shifter
NO bottle with actuators and lines hooked-up but not used on the track yet.
Not run in a 1/4 yet....maybe soon.
"Killswitch" H2 Dragster:
Purple Haze Stage III porting (I think Bianco's motor is stronger)
40mm FBG Lectrons
Lock-up clutch
Air shifter
H1 Laydown Chassis
All fiberglas one piece body
Very light also
Doesn't have Nitrous capability at this time.
Still dialing it in for a 1/4.
Picture 1: "Killswitch" on his and me on my as we started "rocking" the place
down.
Picture 2 and 3: After we strapped it down to take it home
Let me know what you think.
