Tom: Sorry the first pictures were such bad quality.. Hopefully these
will work better....
New Frame about 280lbs.. I decided to try to lighten the bike up a little
instead of taxing the motor. There is still much more I need to do to
lighten it further, like Calipers, Rotors. front forks and a nice set
of wheels. I stand to lose another 20 -30lbs....
Right now it's best time is 9.47. I'd like
to see 9.20 - 30e.t.
This is NOT a Gast motor. It's 60 over with
some special porting that will develop about 150 hp while keeping it's
reliability. Carbs. are 40mm Lectrons and a M.T.C. slider clutch, Air
shifter, and Paul Gast's side winder chambers. the whole body weights
about 6 lbs. Thin aluminum tail section. Z1R side covers, Shell tank and
plastic front fender.
Over the winter I will be working on a new set of cylinders with 805cc.......
Got some other projects in the works..... Maybe I'll see you at the Gap.........
THANKS JIM
